‘Rituals for Wholeness’

When life isn’t easy and people ask us how we are doing, we sometimes say things like: ‘This period is hard for me,’ or ‘At this moment, not so good.’ We can also say: ‘I am not in a very good place right now.’ These examples show us that we can speak about time and also about place when we describe how things are going for us.

In this seminar, we will work with both factors, time and place, as elements of Systemic Rituals for wholeness. A ritual can use various kinds of timelines (different ages we have had, different periods of our family, country or culture and others). A ritual can also be based on a ground plan that includes various kinds of places: for example: where we are now, where we have never been, and where we could like to be. By creating a ritual in which we define and acknowledge where we are right now in our life, and by recognizing this moment/location as one out of several options, we find possibilities to move. We can find back the old resources we have lost and we van invite new ones we did not yet have. Systemic Rituals provide maps that help us to get unstick and move. In Systemic Ritual, many people can participate, everybody choosing their own path, walking it in their own tempo.

A few weeks before the seminar, all participants will be invited to send in the cases they want to work on. This input will be the starting point for the rituals I will create for the occasion. Together, we will support and facilitate each other’s personal process as the Systemic Rituals provide a structure to look at ourselves and take new steps.
