| Getting there | |||||||
The village of Arzentales is 35 km west of Bilbao, one of the three major cities of the Basque Country in the north of the Iberian peninsular. If approaching from Bilbao by car you should take the BI-636 towards Balmaseda and before getting there, turn off right onto the BI-630 towards Karranza which takes you to Arzentales. Once you find yourself in the 'barrio' of Traslaviña, you go past the covered fronton ball court and then the church, both on your right, and you will see signs to turn left for our hotel alongside the local pharmacy; follow these up the valley another 100 m and you are there! If you need a more detailed map of the Bilbao-Amalurra route click on the adjoining map and you will get a printout. If you prefer to use public transport you can get here by both train and bus. Here you have the timetables: TRAIN. Concordia FEVE station in Bilbao (calle Bailen) Departures for Arzentales at 8:02- 13:02- 19:30 daily. Arzentales-Bilbao: 7:09- 9:58- 15:56- 20:56 BUS.
